My First Time in Thailand Part 2

Hello guys...are you still excited to read this post? ^^
Well, I will continue about my activity in Bangkok before I going Kamphaeng Saen at Kasetsart University. So, in this day my lecture Mr. Soni want to show us the center of clothing store namely Platinum Fashion Mall, located at Petchaburi Rd, Ratchathewi in Bangkok. It's little bit far with our hotel, the distance is about 5,6 km. Because there is no Go Jek or Go Car (online transportation in Indonesia) here,  so I with my friends decide to go there by walking.
We go the nearest station first from our hotel to go SIAM Station. So, it's not worry if you don't have transportation or anything else while in Bangkok, because there's facility here to connect you with the whole of Bangkok. There's always station in each area, each area can connect with other areas by BTS or Bangkok Sky Train.

If you want to use this facility, you should exchange some baht with this card.

After arriving in SIAM Station, I need to walk some distance to go Platinum. It's fun walking because I can see Bangkok intensively. During the journey, we can see the sky scrapper, the road, the food street, people, and other interesting things.

Yeay! Finally I am discovering SIAM for the first time ^^

Besides the modern building, you will also always can find the building combined with local wisdom here.

Like in Bali, in Bangkok you will find many building which is ornamented by the local wisdom.This part is something interesting thing if you want to explore Thai culture

Interestingly, during the journey I pass the Embassy of The Republic of Indonesia in Thailand. So, I with my friends decide to take some photo first in front of the gate hehe.

Finally, we are arriving at Platinum in 9 a.m. Mr. Soni says that we will have only time until 11.59 a.m because we must go in Kampaeng saen after this, so we makes agreement to gather on the first floor near with the doughnut store. I walking around this mall, hopefully find something interesting and worth to buy. But, I hard to find it because because not all stores are open yet. On there, I can find good clothes and jeans. The most attractive is the price. The price here is cheaper than in Indonesia. To make the analogy, if in Indonesia one jeans can be priced about $ 20, in Platinum I can find the good quality jeans by only $ 15. But.. honestly I don't buy anything here, because I want to keep my money first based on assumption because in the next place there will be more nice goods to buy. Time flies so fast, it's 11.30 a.m right now. So, I go to the first floor with the bare hand. :D

All the team was completed... Like usual, the girls always attracted by the goods, so they buy bag, cute wallet, etc. And then, it's our time to continue our true journey to go Kasetsart University. I go back by walking without leaving the memories here. Someday, I hope i can visit here again.
